HEROIC French cops have gunned down an Islamic terrorist who screamed “this is for Syria” as he charged at officers with a hammer, Juan Woods reports.
The jihadist is apparently still living following the incident which sparked mass panic at Notre Damn Cathedral in central Paris this afternoon (June 6) at around 4.30pm (GMT).
He had been threatening cops and passers by and eventually smashed the officer on the head with the hammer. After being shot down police found kitchen knives on him.
The French interior minister Gerard Comb said the Muslim shouted “this is for Syria!” as he attacked the officer.
